Didn't get the job, unfortunately. Do check them out, though (<a href="http://www.change.org" rel="nofollow">change.org</a>). Even if I'm not contributing, they have some pretty awesome blogging.

Mona, all three of these are fantastic blogs. My question with this second one, I guess, is what is a viable solution, short or long term, there? As I was reading this, I thought--pretty much for lack of a better idea--"leave them, then! They die there, or they starve and die somewhere else away from a livelihood..." but it strikes me that this is in NO way an answer.
So you, as a person who understands planning far better than I do, might have a better idea.
Help give those of us who have NO clue what that kind of situation would require.

Breakfast turned out great! The string hoppers could have been wetter, the potatoes more coconutty, but overall...mmm!
Mira made mango juice, and my dad wore a sarong. Even the mosquitoes were out in true Sri Lankan style!

Everyone loved it, so you can be sure string hoppers will be on the menu often from now on.

Yay for graduation, the adventure to come in the Fall and such a positive attitude about the unknown future! Those are all huge and I'm incredibly proud, as usual, to have you for a cousin. :-)

I would love to come visit you in Oxford if I can 1) get over my inhibitions about riding in an airplane again for such a very, very, very long time and 2) earn lots and lots of money! :-)

In the meantime, though, we should definitely get together. I'm going to do my best to make it to your graduation party on the 29th and hopefully we can plan another get-together as well!
